Firefox-102.13.0esr invalid opcode trap on a certain 32-bit CPU

On my very old laptop running Slackware-15.0 (32-bit) with a Pentium M processor, Firefox-102.13.0esr always crashes the tab on certain websites like the tech news site https://www.techdirt.com/ . The tab crash corresponds to a system log message: "kernel: traps: Isolated Web Co[...] trap invalid opcode ip:... sp:... error:0 in libxul.so[...]"

I tried firefox-115.0.3esr from Slackware-15/testing it does seem to work just fine. The sites that crashed 102.13.0esr load correctly with 115.0.3esr.
