I ran into weird situation. I appreciate any comments.

System
Several Debian testing amd64 setups.

Setup
Penguin1 and Penguin2 moniterless;
rookery with monitor;
ssh login from rookery to Penguin1 and 2.

What happened
With Penguin1, everything works as expected.
With Penguin2, X forwarding is very slow with evince. It takes almost 60 seconds to work. Several other programs, including xbiff, xterm, xeyes and wxglade works without delay.

What I have done
1. Checked ~/.xsession-error on rookry, no messages at all.
2. Tried ssh -X and ssh -Y, no change
3. Looked for message from evince, so far not successful.
4. evince file1.pdf file2.pdf file3.pdf..., it takes almost 60 sec for file1 to pop, and another 30 sec show rest of the files.

Question
Where to check next??

Thanks in advance

cheers
