How to reconnect a usb stick in debian 11 without having to take it out of the computer and stick it back in?

My usb disconnected after I ran ls -alb, I have searched some articles on how to reconnect the usb without taking it out but they appear to be many methods are some don't apply since upgrades and some appear to be convoluted rabbit holes. The GUI does not show it in Dolphin for me to simply click mount. I am after the simplest safest method via command line only. Thanks in advance.
