How do I reset the defaults in K3b burning software

Please tell me how to change the defaults in K3b. I selected something that loads K3b automatically when I insert blank media. That causes a problem when the program is already running - it creates an error "could not open document". I don't get any errors when I start K3b from "Sound & Video" (Linux Mint). My preference would be for it to "Do nothing" when I insert blank media. I found other questions posted here about changing defaults (from 2004) and those answers did not work. Thanks
