Bengals' Taylor: Burrow 'progressing as he should' after throwing session
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow feels good after having his first throwing session since suffering a calf injury, according to head coach Zac Taylor.
"I think things are good and he's progressing as he should," Taylor said, according to WKRC. "I think everything has been positive."

Burrow went down at practice on July 27 with a calf strain, and Taylor said the star signal-caller was expected to miss several weeks.
Taylor didn't provide a new timetable for Burrow to return but made it clear what he expects from the passer moving forward.
"Just keep progressing the way that we're doing it with the trainers and the strength staff," Taylor said after Friday's 36-19 preseason loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Burrow has taken the NFL by storm since being drafted first overall in 2020. After missing part of his rookie season due to a torn ACL, the LSU product led the league in pass completion percentage and claimed the Comeback Player of the Year award in 2021. He then finished fourth for MVP last year after tossing 30-plus touchdowns for the second straight campaign.
The Bengals' 2023 regular season begins on Sept. 10 against the Cleveland Browns.
