2.1. Building libcrypt is disabled by default
If you still need Glibc libcrypt, pass --enable-crypt to the configure script.
Note that libcrypt may be removed completely in future Glibc releases. Distributions are encouraged to provide libcrypt via libxcrypt, instead of relying on Glibc libcrypt.I created libxcrypt.SlackBuild commit to slackbuilds, under review
