Packers' Love: 'I’m definitely ready for Week 1'
After playing in the Packers' first two preseason games, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is excited for the campaign to start.
"I'm definitely ready for Week 1 and carry on throughout the season," Love said, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. "I think these first two games, we did a lot of good work, getting the practice in with Cincinnati and the Patriots as well."
Love has played well in the preseason, completing 12 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. In the first quarter of Saturday night's contest, Love stepped up in the pocket and threw a solid 19-yard pass to rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed for a score.

The Packers play their final preseason contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 26, and Love isn't opposed to getting in some more action before the regular season starts.
"Playing in that last game would just be getting more reps, getting more comfortable with seeing new looks against another team, so I don't think it would hurt," Love said.
Love takes over Green Bay's starting quarterback job after the team traded longtime starter Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets this offseason. The 2020 first-round pick has 606 passing yards with three touchdowns in 10 career games.
The Packers kick off their season on Sept. 10 against the Chicago Bears.
