How to boot a Vaio laptop with Live-NomadBSD ?
by zaxonus from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6E6AS)
I made a live USB from the image I downloaded from the NomadBSD site.
When I try to use it to boot my SONY Vaio laptop (Model: VGN-Z92JS), this is how it goes; the boot process seems to start fine but ends like this :
......
32-bit compatibility ldconfieg path: /usr/lib32
Autoloading module: acpi_dock
Autoloading module: acpi_wmi
Autoloading module: ichsmb
acpi_dock0: <ACPI Docking Station> on acpi0
I tried both a UFS and a ZFZ image, but the result was the same.
Has anybody tried this before and knows how to solve the problem?
