CodeMeter Runtime

Hi folks,
I have tried to install CodeMeter and got it running on my slack 15 box. I downloaded the rpm package and used rpm2tgz to install. But I had problem getting it running. I could not find "codemeter" in "/etc/init.d". Also, since Slackware does not use "systemctl" as in red hat based boxes, I could not get it running as a daemon.
Any insight on how to fix it is deeply appreciated.
