The flow of climate adaptation finance to Africa must increase up to tenfold by 2035 to meet the deepening impacts of climate change, according to new research.
As the African climate summit continued in Nairobi, campaigners spoke of the desperate need to get funding to people who are already being impacted by climate change. Africa, the most impacted region by climate change, receives only 3% of global climate finance.
