New York Giants tight end Darren Waller is listed as questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys due to a hamstring injury.

Waller appeared on the team's injury report for the first time this week after being listed as a limited participant.

New York acquired the 30-year-old from the Las Vegas Raiders in a March trade. The 2020 Pro Bowler is expected to be a reliable target for quarterback Daniel Jones this season.

Waller posted 28 catches for 388 yards and three touchdowns in nine games last season with the Raiders. The Georgia Tech product flourished during his tenure with the Silver and Black, posting back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns in 2019 and 2020.

If Waller is unavailable, Daniel Bellinger and Lawrence Cager could fill in for the injured pass-catcher.

The Giants are not expected to have the services of wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson for Sunday Night Football. The 2022 second-round pick is listed as doubtful as he continues to work his way back from a torn ACL suffered in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions last season.
