Debian driver for USB Wifi adapter TP-Link Archer T2U Plus?

Hello,
Being about to visit a place where the sole wifi source will be quite remote from the working place, I rushed to buy the adapter above basically because it was the only one available haere with a 5 dB antenna... (I did succeed previously with a 5 dB-antenna Ralink adapter, that alas I don't have anymore)

Of course upon opening the box I see there is just no driver for Linux.

As I had the repeated experience of just plugging the old Ralink and seeing new wifi networks appear, I shamefully forgot this detail :-(

When plugging the TP-Link device on my Debian 11, nothing happens, not even a DEL on the device. Same absence of behavior on my SO's Ubuntu.
TP-Link website proposes just the Win and Mac drivers, as plainly indicated on the box indeed...

Any advice would be extremely appreciated!
Hervi
P. S. the result of the lsusb command indeed lists among others Bus 001 Device 017: ID 2357:0120 TP-Link Archer T2U PLUS [RTL8821AU]
