Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is questionable for the Week 2 matchup against the division-rival Indianapolis Colts after Houston added him to its injury report Friday with a right shoulder injury.

The rookie passer was listed as a limited participant during practice.

Stroud completed 28 of 44 pass attempts in Week 1 for 242 yards, no touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also ran the ball once for 4 yards.

The team ruled out safeties Jimmie Ward and Jalen Pitre with hip and chest injuries, respectively.

Ward also missed the team's opening-week loss to the Baltimore Ravens with a hip ailment.

Pitre sustained his injury against Baltimore. The 24-year-old spent one night at a hospital with a bruised lung after taking an inadvertent knee to the chest from Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
