Charter Bank blocking VPN
by hitest from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6EXZ1)
A while back I suddenly discovered that my bank was blocking my VPN; I could no longer access my account with my VPN. I can of course log-in securely.
I asked the bank about it and they said they were blocking VPNs to prevent hacking attempts. I don't see how this would be an issue as they use 2FA for connections from new machines.
Do you think their claim is truthful or is there another agenda in play?
