HP LaserJet MFP M139-M142 on Debian Sid
by Jonathan-Realman from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6EY2R)
Good Evening/Morning everyone.
I just got a HP LaserJet MFP M139-M142, and it works mostly fine, I can scan, it's recognized by my system etc.
But when ever I try to print something from my Debian Sid PC the machine comes to live, starts the job >Does Not Pull the paper from the only paper intake the printer has< and says the job finished successfully. The weird part is in the HPLIP Toolbox, I can select "Tray1" and "Manual Feeder", even though it should only have tray1. The only conclusion I could come to so far is that CUPS "tray1" doesn't lead to the right tray at all, wouldn't know how to fix that, though.
Willing to post any logs etc. upon request. Hoping one of you guys might have an idea.
Best wishes and a wonderful day.
