The New York Jets are going to continue rallying behind quarterback Zach Wilson despite the passer's struggles.

"(Wilson) gives us the best chance to win," head coach Robert Saleh said Sunday after the club's 15-10 loss to the New England Patriots, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Wilson threw for 157 yards on 18-of-36 passing. He didn't throw a touchdown or interception. His 4.4 yards per attempt was the third-lowest mark of Wilson's career. He'd previously had games with 4.35 and 3.5 yards per attempt against the Buffalo Bills and Patriots in 2022, respectively.

"Keep believing. I truly believe we've got the guys. We understand the frustration. ... We're doing everything we can to get better," the 24-year-old said, according to The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt.

Wilson had completed 26-of-48 passes for 310 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions entering Sunday's contest.

New York turned to Wilson in Week 1 after Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles against the Buffalo Bills. Tim Boyle is the only other quarterback currently on the Jets' roster. Veteran quarterbacks Matt Ryan and Carson Wentz reportedly have interest in joining the team should the franchise look at adding another signal-caller.

The loss marked the Jets' 15th consecutive defeat at the hands of their AFC East foes and dropped New York to 1-2 on the season.
