Software MS Windows versus Linux operating systems ?

Hello,
Win 3.1, Win 2000, and maybe Win NT were reliable and easy to use.
Win 10, after win 8 especially, basically, it is very unreliable, GUI are not easy to use... and it becomes very CPU intensive.
Linux e.g. UBUNTU, everything works.
