Installed programs do not work

Best regards, I just installed Slackware 15, and it works fine with the default software, but when installing slackbuids packages, the terminal procedure goes without a problem and at the end it says package installed, but when I go to run it, I find the icon , it tries to load it but it does not run and no error appears, it has already gone through several different programs and the result is the same, I clarify that I know the basics and I have not been able to solve the problem.
