The Cleveland Browns will be without star quarterback Deshaun Watson for Sunday's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens due to a right shoulder injury, the team announced.

With Watson sidelined, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson is set to make his first career start.

The Browns were optimistic that Watson would be able to suit up, but his pregame workout didn't go as hoped, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Watson apparently suffered the injury from a shot to the shoulder from Tennessee Titans safety Amani Hooker in Week 3. He was limited in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable Friday.

The 28-year-old produced his best performance of the season in the win over the Titans, completing over 80% of his passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Cleveland drafted Thompson-Robinson in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The UCLA product shined in the preseason, throwing two touchdowns to zero interceptions.

Browns tight end David Njoku is available for Sunday's game. His status was in question after the team added him to the injury report Saturday due to burn injuries suffered in a household accident.
