lagging dual Boot - linuxmint / Debian12
by bg368 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6F89P)
Hello Smart People,
I've run into a small problem that I can't solve.
I have been using Linuxmint 21.2 and didn't have a lag problem. But I added deb12 as a dual boot. Now if I boot to debian everything seems to be good. No noticeble lag on youtube or whatever, but LM takes longer to boot than it did when it was alone. Watching YouTube is almost like watching streaming on a modem.
Those problems are seemingly non-existent on debian12.
Any ideas would be appreciated, because every time I start messing around with grub, I usually end totally reinstalling, and that is something I don't want to do.
Regards,
