[SOLVED] LibreOffice Writer no longer acts on boookmarks

I upgraded LibreOffice in Slackware to 7.6.1.2 a couple of weeks ago (thank you, Eric!!). Using it today, I noticed that inserted cross-references no longer seem to work. When I hover over the field which contains the target page number, I see the name of the anchor, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

In earlier versions, clicking on a cross-reference took you to the actual page that contained the anchor.
