Browsers can't start

My Debian-based distro doesn't respond well for some reason lately. I can't find any causes as the CPU usage, memory, and swap are low.
One particular case is about browsers. I can't get the Brave browser started. The situation is the same after I removed the existing one and reinstalled it. When I bring it up, the browser only shows its frame, but nothing else. Something keeps flashing or rolling. The Edge browser has the same issue. Because two browsers have the same issue, we can't say they are the problem. I see both browser crashed on the system monitor panel. Another Chrome based browser works fine though.
Anything I can try to resolve this type of issue?
