Republican US congressman Matt Gaetz claims it would not matter to him if he lost his seat in Congress for leading the ouster of his fellow party member Kevin McCarthy as US House speaker last week.
Asked Sunday on NBC's Meet the Press whether McCarthy's removal as House speaker would be worth losing his job over, Gaetz responded: Absolutely. Look, I am here to fight for my constituents."
