Despite a fairytale start to his career, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy continues to have his doubters and critics.

But according to 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, Purdy's skeptics shouldn't have much to say after the quarterback's four-touchdown performance during San Francisco's blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

"He's just so consistent and he just continues to go out there and prove people wrong," Juszczyk said, per ESPN's Nick Wagoner. "I'm happy that he's able to go out here and have a four-touchdown game on national television because, not that it matters what people on the outside are saying about him, but he deserves more respect than what he gets, I think. I hope he gets a little bit of that from this."

The former Mr. Irrelevant has been close to perfect to start the campaign, completing 72.1% of his passes for 1,271 and nine touchdowns without an interception.

Purdy also ranks first in passer rating (123.1), first in QBR (83.7), first in passing success rate (59%), and second in yards per attempt (9.3).

The 23-year-old's performances are all the more impressive considering he underwent elbow surgery to repair the UCL in his throwing arm after suffering an injury in last season's NFC Championship Game loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

San Francisco remains one of the NFL's two undefeated teams, along with the Eagles, following the statement win over the Cowboys. The NFC West club travels to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.
