One Nation has appointed former Australian Survivor contestant George Mladenov to lead an internal review of the party's New South Wales finances after allegations aired by Mark Latham in parliament that it had misused taxpayer funds.
Mladenov, who appeared on the 2021 and 2023 seasons of the reality TV series Australian Survivor and is a contestant on the current season of The Amazing Race, worked in the Bankstown office of Tania Mihailuk before the ex-Labor MP's defection to One Nation.
On Wednesday, Latham used parliamentary privilege to air further allegations about his former party including that it had spent $5,500 on 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles, more than $3,000 on table throws and more than $1,000 on postcards.
Latham was removed as One Nation's NSW leader in August after an intervention from the party's federal leader, Pauline Hanson.
