ThinkPad does not turn on when power applied
by joboy from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6FFGF)
I got a T440P and used as desktop, running on Mint Debian edition. To simplify the operation I set on the BIOS to turn it on when power applied, so that I don't need to open the lid to push the button, that worked but just for a short while. This morning I turn on the main power to the notebook and the LED on the lid flashed couple times and then turned off nothing happened, I tried many times with and without battery attached the same result, until I open the lid to push the button then it turned on. I recheck the BIOS setting nothing changed, what happen !?
