Report: Kittle fined over $13K for T-shirt taunt vs. Cowboys

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was fined $13,659 by the league for unsportsmanlike conduct after wearing a T-shirt that said "F--k Dallas" on it last Sunday, according to NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco.

Kittle wore the shirt under his jersey during the Niners' 42-10 rout over the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. The four-time Pro Bowler revealed the shirt during Jordan Mason's touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Displaying a personal message can result in a fine worth at least $10,000, per NFL rules. Kittle anticipated receiving a penalty from the league for his actions.

"Probably get a fine," he said Thursday, according to The Associated Press. "Wore a personalized T-shirt. Maybe an inappropriate word. ... It is what it is. It's a decision I made. If they want to fine me, they fine me."

However, Kittle has no regrets. "100%. I'd do it again," he said.

The T-shirt was in homage to former 49ers linebacker Gary Plummer, who wore a similar one during the 1994 NFC Championship Game against Dallas.

Kittle's impact in the victory wasn't limited to his wardrobe. The 2019 first-team All-Pro hauled in three receptions for 67 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Cowboys players and fans didn't take kindly to Kittle's message. Micah Parsons issued a stern warning for the Niners star if the two teams cross paths again.

"Laugh now, cry later," he said.
