Pro-Palestine protests are being held in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide ahead of Israel launching a ground invasion of Gaza after last weekend's Hamas attacks.

The Sydney rally's co-organiser Fahad Ali fought back tears on Sunday in Hyde Park as he spoke about children being killed in Gaza.
