Master Volume Controls "PCM 1" Instead of "PCM" in alsamixer on Linux Mint GNOME
by wehnsdaefflae from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6FRP1)
Hello,
I'm currently using a Linux Mint GNOME system and I've encountered an issue with the volume control. When I adjust the master volume using the system settings, it modifies the "PCM 1" control in `alsamixer`. However, I would like it to adjust the "PCM" control instead.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, could you please guide me on how to set the system master volume to adjust the "PCM" control rather than "PCM 1"?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
