Report: 49ers' McCaffrey on track to play vs. Vikings on MNF

San Francisco 49ers star tailback Christian McCaffrey is trending in a positive direction ahead of Monday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

All signs point to McCaffrey playing after being listed as questionable with an oblique injury on the team's final injury report, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

McCaffrey leads all ballcarriers entering Week 7 with 553 yards and is tied with Travis Etienne for the league lead with seven rushing touchdowns. He is currently riding a 15-game touchdown streak.

The status of the 2019 first-team All-Pro running back was in question after he left the Niners' game against the Cleveland Browns.

Wideout Deebo Samuel is ruled out for the contest and Trent Williams is listed as doubtful.
