Firefox pop-up blocker being selective

I have been trying to disable "Sign in with Google" popup. Going to my Google account and making changes doesn't work. Looking at other options thinking Duckduckgo is owned by Google no to that. Even changed my search engine, no help there. Firefox does have a Popup blocker, and if it is not working, that means that Google has installed some malware on my computer. So is there a solution to this?
I just discovered this; In about:config there are about 20 entrys concerning Google safe browsing. I guess I could turn off and on each one of them until I find the one that is allowing the popup. Or perhaps some on on the forum has already done this?
