Frank Clark reuniting with Seahawks

Frank Clark is reuniting with the Seattle Seahawks.
The veteran pass-rusher is set to sign with the Seahawks, head coach Pete Carroll confirmed Wednesday, according to team reporter John Boyle.
Clark, who played his first four NFL seasons with the NFC West club, told Josina Anderson of CBS Sports that he's flying to Seattle for a visit with the team.
The 30-year-old generated interest from multiple teams but opted to return to the city where his NFL career started on a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Kansas City Chiefs were among the clubs linked to him.
Carroll added that Clark is expected to play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, according to Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune.
Clark began the 2023 season with the Denver Broncos, who released him on Oct. 13 after failing to find a trade partner. He's appeared in only two games this year.
Seattle recently began looking for defensive help up front after linebacker Uchenna Nwosu went down with a pec injury.
The Seahawks drafted Clark in the second round in 2015. He racked up 35 sacks in 62 games with the team - including a career-high 13 in 2018 - before being traded to the Chiefs. The Michigan product then earned three Pro Bowl berths during his four-season stint in Kansas City.
Clark has also made a big impact in the playoffs, having racked up 13.5 career postseason sacks - the second-most in NFL history. He won two Super Bowl trophies with the Chiefs.
