Error trying to install clipgrab on debian 12
by Binksnosake from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6GA3V)
Hello I am beggining with Linux debian 12, and I am currently facing problems installing the programs I want. I am learning. I would need help installing clipgrab.
I downloaded the image, used "chmod a+x ClipGrab-3.9.7-x86_64.AppImage" to make it executable and when i enter "./ClipGrab-3.9.7-x86_64.AppImage" i am prompted to clipgrab app, I have to download youtube-dlp and I get "SSL handshake failed" error.
I downloaded yt-dlp following those instructions:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tomtomtom/yt-dlp
sudo apt update
sudo apt install yt-dlp
It worked but when I launch clipgrab it doesn't recognize yt-dlp, it still needs to download it, unsuccessfully. I think I would need to move yt-dlp to another directory so that when I launch clipgrab it recognize it. Could you help me ?
I don't know how to share what I get from the terminal apart from copy paste but the result is not very readable. If you have a suggestion I will be grateful :)
Thank you in advance
