Vikings' Jefferson won't play Week 10 vs. Saints
The Minnesota Vikings aren't activating wide receiver Justin Jefferson off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.
Jefferson has been ruled out of the Week 10 contest. The LSU product entered the 21-day practice window Wednesday while rehabbing a hamstring injury. His next opportunity to return will be Week 11 against the Denver Broncos.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Wednesday that it'd be a "little aggressive" for Jefferson to play Week 10, according to Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.
Jefferson was off to a hot start before injuring his hamstring. He has 571 yards on 36 catches and three touchdowns in five games this campaign.
The Vikings have ripped off four straight victories with Jefferson on injured reserve. Joshua Dobbs will get his first start with Minnesota on Sunday after leading the team to victory last week while replacing injured quarterback Jaren Hall.
