The Bengals' Super Bowl dreams came to a crashing end on Friday after it was announced that Joe Burrow would miss the remainder of the season with a wrist injury.

Their odds of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy went from +2500, the eighth-shortest on the betting board, to +15000, alongside the likes of the Packers, Rams, and Buccaneers.

Cincinnati's odds of making the playoffs moved from +170 to +550, an implied probability swing of 21.6%. Prior to their Thursday night loss against the Ravens, the Bengals were -145 (a 59.2% implied probability) to make the playoffs.

Speaking of the Ravens, their odds of winning the AFC North improved from -190 to -250 with the Bengals dropping from the race. Cincinnati is now +7500 to win the division after being +400 prior to Thursday's game.

Burrow's absence also impacts star wideout Ja'Marr Chase. Chase is now +10000 to win Offensive Player of the Year. He was +3300 prior to his quarterback's injury.

Without Burrow, the Bengals will turn to the undrafted Jake Browning, who had never completed an NFL pass prior to Thursday's emergency appearance in Baltimore.

The Bengals host another AFC North rival - the Steelers - in their next game during Week 12.
