The New York Jets are determined to reunite Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets are expected to pursue a trade for the All-Pro receiver again this offseason after being rebuffed before the October trade deadline, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Raiders were reportedly adamant about keeping Adams despite a disappointing season up until that point.

But with interim head coach Antonio Pierce getting Las Vegas back to 5-5 with two straight wins following the firing of Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler, the future of Adams could depend on whether the club can sustain its success, adds Schefter.

The 30-year-old has 57 catches for 659 yards and three touchdowns in his second season with the Raiders. He had 100 catches for 1,516 yards and an NFL-high 14 receiving scores in 2022.

Adams established himself as one of the NFL's best wideouts during eight seasons alongside Rodgers in Green Bay before getting traded to Las Vegas.

The star quarterback is currently sidelined with an Achilles injury but hopes to return in mid-December.
