Kupp to play vs. Cardinals despite ankle sprain
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp will play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals despite suffering an ankle sprain in Week 11, head coach Sean McVay announced Friday, according to Sarah Barshop of ESPN.
Kupp limped off during the second quarter of a win over the Seattle Seahawks and was unable to return.
The All-Pro wideout missed the first four games of the season due to a hamstring injury and sat out the final eight contests of 2022 with an ankle ailment.
Kupp has caught 24 passes for 375 yards and one touchdown in six appearances this season.
The 30-year-old will lead L.A.'s receiving group alongside rookie sensation Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell as the team tries to stay in the NFC playoff race.
The Rams sit at 4-6, and a win over the Cardinals would put them one game behind the No. 7 seed Seahawks.
