rc.qemu.ga not starting at boot

Hey Friends.
So, I installed it, verified it works [data populates in proxmox] and chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.qemu.ga but on reboot , does not work. If I manually do it, I have to add a start at the end. Am I missing something really silly and obvious?
