The New England Patriots' recent struggles don't appear to be weighing too heavily on head coach Bill Belichick.

Following the Patriots' 10-7 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday, Belichick said he "absolutely" enjoys coaching the team now as much as he did in years past.

"Every week's a challenge, and I'm excited about the challenge, the opportunity, and what we have to do to win each week," he said. "I'll keep working as hard as I can to help our team."

The Patriots fell to 2-9 on the season with Sunday's loss, which was their fourth in a row. They own the worst record in the AFC and the third worst in the league behind the 2-10 Arizona Cardinals and 1-10 Carolina Panthers.

During an appearance on WEEI's "The Greg Hill Show" on Monday, Belichick also shut down reports suggesting he'll move on from the Patriots after this season and that he's already decided on his next destination.

"Yeah, that's ridiculous," the 71-year-old said.

He added, "I don't worry about what everybody else is saying. I've heard good, I've heard bad. I don't really care."
