Jalen Hurts is the front-runner to win the NFL MVP award after the Eagles' overtime win against the Bills on Sunday.

Hurts was +225 going into Week 12 at theScore Bet but widened the gap over his next closest threats, Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes.

After throwing for three touchdowns and running in another two, Hurts is now +150 to win the NFL's top award, an implied probability of 40%, which is twice as likely as both Jackson and Mahomes.

Hurts finds himself in a very similar position to last year. He was the heavy favorite before a late-season injury forced him to miss two games and gave Mahomes the opportunity to overtake him in the MVP race.

If Hurts can stay on the field and the Eagles continue to rack up wins, he'll be tough to catch.

But a lot can still happen in December, and the MVP award does ask the question: "What have you done for me lately?"

The AFC is by far the deeper conference. Right now, Jackson's counting stats don't compare to the other elite quarterbacks, but if he leads the Ravens to the No. 1 seed in the AFC, he has to be in the MVP conversation.

The Ravens have marquee matchups against the Jaguars, 49ers, and Dolphins remaining on their schedule. A sweep of these games, two of which are in prime time, would bode well for Jackson's resume.

Dak Prescott's odds plummeted over recent weeks. He's thrown 17 touchdown passes in his past five games and sits as the fourth favorite at +800. He was as long as +5000 before the Cowboys' offensive explosion, but they've averaged 38.6 points per game since their Week 7 bye.
