SDDM not Working
by Desiderius from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6GSAR)
Hi all
I have just installed a new Slackware 15 on an old computer.
Everything worked fine and I have configured the system and KDE ( language and so on ).
Since everything was OK, I have put the run level 4 in /etc/inittab to start
directly and log on X Window.
After rebooting, I have the message :"Starting X window session" and ... I have the prompt for logging on the basic terminal.
I have looked for gdm, kdm or sddm and find only sddm !
I try to launch it by hand :
It stays quiet and do nothing without any errors
