Remmina "The file /home/mik/***.RDP is corrupted, unreadable or could not be found"

On Slackware -current up to date, I am getting this error when trying to use remmina on a .RDP file:

"The file /home/mik/***.RDP is corrupted, unreadable or could not be found"

I have deleted the file and replaced it with a backup copy, same problem.

Rebuilding remmina did not work.
