Best NFL Week 13 total bets: Can the Broncos keep riding?
It's hard to believe there are only six weeks left in the NFL's regular season. Poor quarterback play continues to make headlines and create low totals for various games. We'll keep targeting game unders with our best bets for Week 13.
Cardinals @ Steelers under 41.5This is a surprisingly high total for two of the NFL's worst offenses. Just one of the Steelers' last five games have gone over 41.5. Pittsburgh has the league's fifth-worst scoring offense, while the Cardinals have the eighth-worst.
Even with Kyler Murray back under center, Arizona's offense is lackluster and uninspiring. The Steelers also have the NFL's fifth-best scoring defense, so the Cardinals will struggle to move the ball.
Arizona has the second-worst scoring defense, but the Steelers' offense is so inept that it won't matter. Expect a low-scoring slugfest in Pittsburgh.
Broncos team total: Over 22.5 pointsI hope everyone played their Sean Payton jokes in the first half of the season because he's seemingly turned the Broncos around and has Russell Wilson back to playing solid football. Denver's right in the mix for an AFC wild-card playoff spot.
Denver has won five straight and scored at least 23 points in three of its last four games. The Texans are an average defense that allows 21.1 points per game.
Both teams are desperate as they make a playoff push in the latter part of the season. This should be a high-scoring affair between two offenses clicking at the right time.
Panthers @ Buccaneers under 36.5The Panthers are a complete mess. They likely drafted the wrong quarterback with the first overall pick in April's draft, fired their coach less than a year into his first season, and are currently 1-10.
Carolina has the NFL's fourth-worst scoring offense, while the Buccaneers have a bottom-10 scoring offense and are slipping after a surprisingly successful start to the season.
This is the second-lowest under of the week, and that's for good reason. This game will likely end with each team in the teens.
