Canada's sport minister is supporting the Haudenosaunee Nationals' bid to compete as a separate nation in lacrosse at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Carla Qualtrough issued a statement supporting the Indigenous lacrosse teams on Wednesday, hours after U.S. President Joe Biden announced a similar stance.
