San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa believes the team provided the Dallas Cowboys with tape on how to slow down Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

"We made Jalen stay in the pocket and escape outside instead of those B gaps," Bosa told reporters. "And it paid off. ... Jalen is looking at the rush every play. You just have to be disciplined and not give him that quick escape route where he can get to his guys quick."

He added: "Obviously, we put the blueprint out there. Hopefully, the Cowboys watch the tape."

Hurts finished the game with 318 total yards and two touchdowns. However, he only completed 57.7% of his passes, his worst mark in a single game this season.

The 49ers restricted Hurts to 20 rushing yards on seven attempts. He had 3.72 seconds from snap to release in the contest, the second-longest mark of any quarterback this season, per David Lombardi of The Athletic.

San Francisco had stellar coverage behind the pass rush, only allowing 4.4 yards per target when Hurts was kept clean in the pocket, according to PFF.

The 49ers generated 46 pressures on Hurts, according to Lombardi, while only blitzing on 9.6% of the quarterback's dropbacks. Dallas ranks seventh in blitz percentage this campaign, per Pro Football Reference.

Hurts was efficient in the club's Week 9 victory over the Cowboys, totaling 243 yards with three touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his throws.

The two teams face off on Sunday Night Football in Week 14.
