The New Orleans Saints listed quarterback Derek Carr as questionable for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers with concussion, rib, and right shoulder injury designations, the team announced Friday.

Carr later cleared concussion protocol and is expected to start Week 14, reports Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.

Signal-caller Taysom Hill and wideout Rashid Shaheed are also questionable. Hill is dealing with injuries to his foot and left hand, while Shaheed is nursing a thigh ailment. Neither player practiced this week.

Carr was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday before being upgraded to full Friday.

Head coach Dennis Allen said Friday that the veteran quarterback has "made progress" this week, according to Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football.

Allen added that Carr and backup quarterback Jameis Winston have managed snaps this week.

Carr was injured in last Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions after taking a big hit on a passing attempt. Winston replaced him, recording two completions on five attempts for 41 yards.

The Saints have lost three games in a row but are still in the hunt for the NFC South with a 5-7 record. They only trail the 6-6 Atlanta Falcons.
