Philadelphia Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro won't be allowed on the sideline for Sunday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys following his Week 13 ejection, a team spokesperson confirmed Saturday.

"This is an ongoing conversation with the NFL, and we are going to respect the restriction that is currently in place," an Eagles spokesperson told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. "Although Dom will not be on the sideline this Sunday, he will continue to fulfill his role with the team in all other capacities."

He's permitted to travel with the team and do his regular gameday duties. DiSandro and other Eagles officials met with commissioner Roger Goodell on Friday, and the league is still reviewing the incident to see if further punishment is needed, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

DiSandro was thrown out of the team's Week 13 contest against the San Francisco 49ers after pushing linebacker Dre Greenlaw during a scuffle on the Eagles sideline.

Greenlaw was also ejected and reportedly fined $10,927 for body-slamming Eagles wideout DeVonta Smith, which set off the interaction with DiSandro, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Greenlaw said the two sides exchanged apologies via intermediaries.

"We just exchanged a formal apology just between me and (general manager John Lynch) and some of the same people that we do know that in the building and stuff like that," Greenlaw said Wednesday, per Schefter.

"He seemed like a genuine guy. Seemed like a guy that everybody loved in the building. So, I hate that, honestly. I really hate that it even escalated and went to that."

The 49ers defeated the Eagles 42-19 in the contest.
