Reid: Toney didn't check with refs ahead of offside penalty vs. Bills
Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney didn't check with the officials to confirm he was aligned properly ahead of a late offside penalty that cost Kansas City a touchdown against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, head coach Andy Reid said, according to The Athletic's Nate Taylor.
The Bills ultimately won the contest 20-17 after this trick play featuring a Travis Kelce lateral was overturned by the flag:
Play was called back but can't believe Kelce tried this

Reid called the decision "embarrassing" postgame but said Monday that he doesn't blame the officials for the loss and wants to maintain a healthy working relationship with them, per Jesse Newell of the Kansas City Star.
The league will reportedly review Reid's and quarterback Patrick Mahomes' critical comments about the officiating.
The loss dropped Kansas City to 8-5, tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns for the third-best record in the AFC.
