Giants' DeVito, Jets' Wilson highlight Players of the Week
What might be the most unlikely Offensive Players of the Week were announced Wednesday.
New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito took home the honour for the NFC after he shined on Monday Night Football, totaling 229 yards and one touchdown in a 24-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers.
The 25-year-old set up Randy Bullock's game-winning field goal after leading the Giants on an eight-play, 57-yard drive with 1:33 remaining. He also completed a career-high 81% of his passes and threw a beautiful touchdown pass on the run to wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins to give New York an eight-point lead late in the third quarter.

The 24-year-old Wilson made some high-difficulty throws in the game, and he led the Jets to 347 total yards and over 37 minutes of possession.
