setup of bluetooth headphones fails
by apolinsky from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6H5C2)
I recently purchased a Grado GW100x set of headphones that uses bluetooth connectivity. Initially I tried to connect the headphones and received the following message: "the setup of Grado GW100X has failed". I went back to previous questions and switched to pipewire audio system, renaming the pipewire.xxx.desktop.sample files to pipewire.xxx.desktop files, moved the pulseaudio.desktop to a backup directory, and changed the two instances of autospawn = yes to autospawn = no in /etc/pulse/client.conf file. I get the same result using pipewire, so I switched back to pulse audio. Can someone suggest additional steps I can take? Since the laptop is an old, dual boot Dell XPS13, I switched to windows 10. The headphones worked perfectly.
Thank you.
Thank you.
